I miss and wish for those times when things were simpler
Then I remember you
And I'm thankful the way things are now too

You know the one thing about some people
Its like they only care about what they feel
And think just because we laugh and smile all the time
That everything's fine

Sometimes just because i'm your friend doesn't mean that im okay with what you do to me okay. Embarrassment? Do you know i begged him for us?? do you know how embarrassed i was doing that?

I purposely mentioned all those stuff the other day just to see if you care. No reaction at all. Angry, Upset and Dissapointed?

I beg to differ. I have feelings too.

I need you two right now
:(

Our problem as young people is our idealistic mind. Now don’t get me wrong, an idealistic mind is always a gem among the group of norm. However, an idealistic mind poses this one weakness which cultivates problems in many areas and poses a big risk namely, misconception and diverted understanding.

The weakness of such an idealistic mind lies in its enthusiasm itself. You see, a huge explosion of enthusiasm gives rise to an idealistic opinion in a student. However, once an idealistic view approaches, they fail to see the rationale of the other option. Now bear in mind, when taking a decision, no option is wrong, but every option has its degree of rationality. Option A is rationale as it serves the crowd better but it may forget the minority whereas option B is also rationale as it serves both but in a lesser amount to both sides.

Empathy is a strong word. At times it brings about liberal consciousness which is bad. But at times it is a necessity when we are faced with a huge crowd vesting to millions of people. What empathy does is to give us another way of looking at things. Our view must not be selfish; our view must be positively responsive to the whole crowd. If we are to understand the view of side A without understanding side B we are no better than people like Hitler (and bear in mind what an idealistic young man he was during his time!)

I had attended a talk in the starting of August, it was in a way a positive talk that tries to address issues and in a way evoke idealism. However, what saddens me is the foolishness of several students. There was a session where they were allowed to ask the speakers a question. I was struck the most when one student asked,

“You say that we should study in BM whereas all the previous Prime Ministers had studied in English medium schools during their days”

Now I’m not such a smart person but honestly, wasn’t that a bit tad too stupid to ask? We are at a time where we can choose what language to use, to learn, to cultivate! In their time it was not. We were in the British colonial rule and even in Mahathir’s era he was in no position to fight whether he wants to learn it in English or BM. Ever heard of a 10 year old fighting for human rights? Maybe yes you have, but in this case, it’s a definite no.

What some of them were doing was question for the sake of questioning, not for the sake of learning. Their ideals and stands may have been right or wrong, but the medium in which they have tried to use to justify it was used wrongly. Hence a question posed that day should have been done not for the sake of just to ask and get things clear but to learn. Knowledge is in many forms, idealism may be posed in many people and that includes even Karl Marx and those evil geniuses.

Our enthusiasm lied in the wrong manner. Enthusiasm was made a veil to the rationale thinking. And thus leads us to develop a false stand where we look upon things negatively and without putting in mind of the opposite. I refuse and abhor such scrutiny imposed upon idealism as idealism is a good thing. Idealism pushes us to fight for something; idealism is what has shaped humanity whether good or bad.

Hence for the sake of knowledge and civilization, be idealistic, but be rational as well.

Ahemahem!

This post! Is specially posted for the viewing of a certain Kong Chia Yew

The rest can wonder whats up with the picture and be blur or make it into a funny topic at my chatbox! haha
Haiyo I guess the Maha Clinic back there isn't clear lah, sorry Kong!

And do ignore my weird how many days tak mandi facial expression yea! :P

Who am I is the worst question i have ever been faced with my whole life.

Since i was a kid, i became this person who my parents wanted me to be. Then I grew up and become things which i hate. I feel as if society is what shaped me today. No, it didn't shape me to a bad person or a criminal or a juvenile delinquent, but instead it shaped me to become someone who was not....well me.. Every single day, i wake up and i just wish i would wake up a person i would actually like to become. But what is it that i want to become? I go to school and i act like this person who i really hate! I do things which i rarely agree with! I hang out with people who made me feel like a flipping burger workaholic instead of a friend. I dont know what is a friend, I dont belong to a group of friends. Every time i go somewhere is like letting go of everything before me and taking something new, just temporarily. I want to feel that sense of belonging. I want to know what is friendship. I want to know me. I feel like im alone, I feel cold everyday, in every sense. My heart thumps and feels so weak, I grow jelous of those few people who hang out with the same people each day, go to each others houses and laugh together whereas I sit there alone and do my work. People would say like "Hey! go hangout with people like you la" but the thing is, who am i? Every single day i wear different hats with different people and different situations.

I am the clown in class

I am the strict and serious guy in school

and I am the loner among them

And yet i feel like this is not me. I am someone else. I've lost Ashman. I want to feel like Ashman once more. I don't want to be the philosophical person, the debater, the commander, the leader or anything else!!

I just want to be ashman but i dont know what that is anymore. I hate the way society treats me like it knows me. I hate the way I am stereotyped and not taken seriously when i am being serious.

I'm afraid now, of waking up one day, alone, with no memories, hateful, and cold. I'm afraid of regretting that I never made a significance in my life, I'm afraid that I have no significance in life.

I would do anything to trade whatever it is in this life and everything else, to have that.

To lay down under a tree, with an apple and a book on top of my face covering me as I sleep and my head on her lap.

I really do not know what or who I am now
And that is the death of me

Ahah! After weeks of interpreting what that line from Casablanca meant,

I have decided

That it is to show respects to a person,

that line is,

"Heres to looking at you kid"

*Humphrey Bogart is so cool haha

I have gotten my first group work assignment

"Philosophy is a study of problems which are ultimate, abstract and very general. These problems are concerned with the nature of existence, knowledge, morality, reason and human purpose."

Jenny Teichmann and Katherine C. Evans, Philosophy: A Beginner's Guide (Blackwell Publishing, 1999), p. 1

Why does philosophy exist?

Is it to make sense of the incredible array of problems we have in the world?
Is it to negate the facts and let us find another reasoning behind an issue?
Is it to so call make a review of our lives and examine it?
Is it to improve ourselves?
Is it to make us feel better with this feeling that we actually know something?

Most people I've known and met in my whole freaking life talks about philosophy, theory, psychology and complexity. They come up with their 'interesting' ideas and stark 'evidence', clear comparisons and historical accounts then comes up with a conclusion and swoosh! stands proudly on their ground, claims something which doesn't even make sense. But then again, nothing ever makes sense right?
One word, WOW. Why wow? Because by this process of "philosophical thinking", humanity has abused it and seems to take into high consideration of their intellectuality. I've lived for only 18 years, 18 VERY SHORT years and here I am standing among these idiots who call themselves intellectuals.

First of all lets verify that I am in no intention of pointing to anyone, friend or foe. If you feel like I am talking about you then your fault lah. Not mine.

*to be continued

The world has perhaps turned a bit uglier for President Obama. Short into his 1st term, he has successfully lost the confidence of more than few key-economist, historian and public figures. Just less than two weeks ago did Obama’s plea for support troops in Afghanistan was rejected by the European Union (EU) members. The response though fortunately failed to tarnish his reputable image. The Obama fever hasn’t cooled down, the people are still addicted and Obama girl is still active.

Barack Obama is doing exactly what his campaign says, and the financial statements, the unemployment rates and much more are not exactly getting much better. He is not entirely wrong, for the past 4 months he has done few things past American presidents would not dare to do, pulling away troops from Iraq and announcing the closure of Guantanamo Bay. Though current polls shows that by last February his approval rating among Democrat has drop by 6 percent but is still remaining high of 92% and for the Republican of dropping by 19% down to 31%[1]. Though the middle class society and the rest of the world is totally in love with Obama, various economic critic and historians are starting to think otherwise. Only last month did Tim Ferguson mention that “attempts to rescue the economy by Washington and other political capitals have done little good and much harm[2]. Numerous of them have proposed actions and ideas on which systems that need revamping but none seems to past his ears. And here we are counting our matchsticks paying the price of ignorance. It seems as if the meetings before his inauguration centering on the economic crisis was not constructive. Either this or Obama’s economic ‘teacher’ Larry Summers is a terrible one.

His more current move in nationalizing the financial institutions is a much opposed one. The government's decision to purchase minority stakes in financial institutions and further expand its deposit insurance programs will bolster its power over how financial institutions are managed and regulated going forward. But do the steps that the Treasury and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. plan to take amount to a partial nationalization of our financial system?[3] The idea of this gives the govt. more than just huge stake in decision making but relinquishes the idea of a free enterprise bringing government bureaucracy[4] into the picture. No longer are corporations free to make decisions without any government intervention. This gives the federal bank micro management of the financial institutions. It may be good in a way of decreasing the risk of non-performing loans. But then walks in the issue of how the govt. is going to implement the action as the buying out of the financial institutions shares would deliberately allow the equity holders to walk away freely without any consequence.

Another problem lies in the appointment of Obama’s Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner himself. Here is the man who has been in the crisis in the middle of summer 2007 and still failed the New York Reserve. Steve Forbes wrote “You would think he’d have been ready for decisive, bold actions as soon as Obama took the oath of office. Instead, he has discouraged markets with his vague generalities[5]. An article in the New York Times mention that As the day wore on, Mr. Geithner faced growing skepticism from Democratic and Republican lawmakers, many of them channeling deep voter disgust with the way the government has handled the bailout over the last nine months[6]”. The Senate Finance Committee cited his lack of details and information in his plans giving a lack of confidence in the Obama-lead administration. Even the House Financial Service Committee, Wall Street and various Economists are taking swipes on his costly blunder that’s taking up precious time waiting for more detailed plans[7]. They also took an offense towards the new Bank Bail-Out plan commenting that tax payers money are practically going to banks and financial institutions that directly helped the current crisis escalate. These banks are not investing or lending out paralyzing the credit flow without anyone gaining from it. And with the nationalization it’s going to be worse as the Chairman of the Federal Bank, Ben Bernanke who is weary and reluctant to invest. The whole purpose of having savings is to direct savings from one party to be invested with another party, as explained by Steve Forbes[8]. But what Bernanke is doing is following his predecessor Alan Greenspan is avoiding ‘excess savings’ which is practically preposterous, because there can never be an excess in savings!

President Obama should take a cue from his hero Abraham Lincoln. President Lincoln did whatever that was necessary, firing incapable generals and taking up books on war when his advisors did not perform. Though Obama is still in his honeymoon with America, it is clear that with his declining confidence in the senate and Russia’s Putin’s new plan to reestablish itself as the major player gathering back the nations lost from the Soviet Union he may have to change his basic premises. In the coming months, he would face an even worse situation and escalating opposition. He cannot afford to have the slows as the financial crisis is said to only be brewing. The unemployment rates are still low, and the results are yet to show, and if this persist to happen he too like Herbert Hoover, shall be a one-termer.

The International Crime Court (ICC) has issued a warrant arrest to the Sudan Head of State Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir.

He is suspected for war crimes and control of several branches to secure the implementation of the counter-insurgency campaign.

This is the first time such warrant has been issued.

Isn't it a wonder how this can happen suddenly?

Comparing the magnitude of his actions and the acts of Bush, Blair and Edud, The ICC is clearly being unjust.

In a world where even an intenational body for justice(as they claim) is such, how can we expect any justice from the westerners who slander, abuse, and twist and turn from it?

And this is another proof of democracy's weakness.

(The reason for the non-related picture[but actually is if you notice] and me writing like this is because last week was Kongs birthday! HAHA,

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY KONG!

FYI Kong writes like this so yeah.)

Omehgosh guys! Life update yea! I rarely do these kind of girly stuff so once in a while why not eih.

Okay, so tomorrow I'm going to apply for the Help University College Foundation in Arts. I went to the Facon EduFair today at KLCC with Ayah and we met this guy at Help's booth. Well he didn't actually introduce to me the arts foundation but what really interested me and Ayah was the University of London External System. But to get in he suggested foundations.

Ayah was like Hey! This is like so cool lets go to Help straight away! And so we did, met this nice guy form the UOL department and now I'm enrolling for foundation tomorrow! I guess my plans on Form 6 and A-levels tidak menjadi kerana saya merasakan ini adalah untuk terbaik. The guy did mention though that the UOL degree course is going to be very hard and that every intake normally theres only 25 people applying. Its much harder than the University of East London(UOEL) and more challenging. He also mentioned that this course are normally for ambitious ones (puji diri LOL!). But I guess no matter in what ever course its always hard, but i really intend to work hard from now. I feel really bad for only studying the last 2 months before SPM and now my results are terrible :(. My intake is on the 23rd of March! So near but now I finally have a purpose in life. Thats good if your wondering :P.

So yeah other than that I'm not sure what else to say, there was so many chicks at the Help's booth though, I mean the enquiring ones.
Really lah, don't come to help. OMYGOSH! HAVE I GONE GAY? NO LAH. Actually nanti terlalu banyak distraction. I mean you guys know kan how my head is like. Macam a chick alarm. Turns everywhere theres a hot chick. It's not my fault okay, its just that way. I don't know what you science people call it, hormon kan? ;P

Buuuttt then if you ladies want to I won't exactly mind HAHA.

Hence with my honest intention of wanting to be hardworking, I wish to inform that I shall not be too frequent with my blog now, I might post when I'm extremely free or post any of my assignments if its interesting.

And this below can only be understood by very few so beware!

Remember when I said that if it won't happen then I won't do it for the next few years, I guess life has its way of telling things which are just not meant and I was just being to small-boy-ish about it though I'm already 18 now. I guess I would just have to follow what I say now. I feel a bit weird though but it's fine. Normally I find Malay guys doing it very frequently after they're out of school but I'm the other way round. I don't mind being this way, I feel happy with the people I'm with now, they're nice people but I feel bad I act even around them. But thats another issue I'm still contemplating. I think I'll be very fine, one seems like an interesting figure.

And well just to end my post for tonight, heres a nice video for all of you! Its funny :).

BBYE

Any Malaysian born in Malaysia would know of the legend of Hang Tuah regardless of any race. The tale of his battle with Hang Jebat, his non-genetic brother has been retold in many ways but looking at its core, it is still the same. However what makes this story different to many Malaysians is how we depict and interpret the story.

The story of the battle was all caused by the unjustified way the Sultan Of Malacca sentenced him to death. He was framed with for having an illicit affair with one of the Sultan's concubines. However he was instead saved and hidden far away by the Bendahara(prime minister). After Jebats treachery, he was granted full amnesty and fought Jebat and finally killed Jebat.

The way people has symbolized both Tuah and Jebat has both been one-sided. I find that we have perhaps misunderstood it in many ways, ranging from why Tuah actually forgo with killing Jebat and to what Jebats idea actually meant.

Lets forget Tuah's quotation 'Takkan Melayu Hilang di Dunia' because I personally think its irrelevant in this matter.
However lets insert Jebats quotation 'Raja adil raja disembah, raja zalim raja disanggah' because its plays a huge clue to what was the idea he brought.

I'll put it in numberings to make my arguments easier.

1. Was Tuah too loyal in a non-sensible way

Now some people argue that his loyalty was too strong and that he did not see the logic in Jebats eyes. However as a Muslim, perhaps he knew that as Rasulullah is the perfect example, to forgive someone before the person asks for forgiveness instead of his extremely strong loyalty.

Because if he was loyal then why did he go againts the orders of the Sultan?

An extension of this tale was that After the fight, The Sultan ordered his men to tear down, burn and throw the ashes of the house into the sea. Two months later, when a lady of the Bendahara retinue gave birth to Jebat's son, the sultan ordered Hang Tuah to throw the baby into the sea as well. Instead, he entrusted the child, Hang Kadim, to the Bendahara.

This tale however contradicts the prospect looked upon.

And if he was that loyal, then wouldn't he have killed himself when the Sultan sentenced him to death instead of hide?

I feel that perhaps it wasn't his loyalty but justice that drove him to kill Jebat. Perhaps he knew that after Jebats act of killing so many palace maids his cause has wavered. And to this, justice needed to be brought upon him as well.

2.Jebat, The Father of Malaysian Democracy?

Okayy, going back to his quote, Raja adil raja disembah, raja zalim raja disanggah, did he really fought for democracy? Was it the idea of democracy that he brought? or Was it the idea of justice towards all? and What he fought for was actually simple justice?

Being a Muslim, I felt that democracy was not what he meant when he uttered those words. That sentence could have been simply applied towards any form of governence in the world. Democracy has not been the strongest system created, or the most justified.

What is the actual proof that he meant democracy? He never mentioned in any way for people to vote for him to replace the Sultan. And he never mentioned in anyway of their rights towards determining the rulers.

What he mentioned was that we should follow a just ruler and not follow(or mengenepikan) and unjust ruler. It was that simple. I find no reason what so ever for democracy to butt in.
It wasn't democracy that he fought for, it was justice for all, even rulers. It was simple justice.

3.Was the killing of Jebat Justified?

This is simple, YES.
You see, though Jebat has the correct idea, his methods were wrong. As a Muslim, he shouldve know that himself than to kill the palace maids and divulge himself in merrymaking instead of preaching and continuing his idealism of justice!

And yes he had a choice. Every one has a choice. Even when you are againts the self-proclaimed human god you still have a choice.
Nowadays, it takes a dead reporter for us to realize and fight for the freedom of press.
Nowadays, it takes a dead little girl for us to realise and fight for peace.
If he believed that justice was on his side, he himself would not commit such foul acts of murder.
Its a simple question of willing to stick the objectives that you put forth, not treachery or loyalty.

Conclusion
I just think we think too complex in an inappopriate manner. That we divulge ourselves in the ideas that we like, we fail to see the gyst of ones actions and words. We seem to apply what our beliefs are in storys where it doesn't relate. There are many things in life which are complex, but this is not one of them. This was simple, justice gone wrong, a man who knew what had to be done, and he though loyal, knew his limits. We see things that we want to see and when we don't, we push for those things to appear when at the same time, we fail to realize the negative implications of it. For me, Tuah did the right thing, and Jebat was wrong, not in his idea, but in his reactiosn and for it, he had to face the consequence. His killings does not justify Tuah's alleged murder.

But again, thats my idea je kan?

But remember that let it be Jebat or Tuah, they were both heroes who should be sought for inspiration, patriotism and idealism.

They were both men who were loyal and loving towards each other, brothers but alass as one is clouded in his actions, the other did what was only justified.

Remember that Jebat asked for forgiveness when he died. That he was redeemed. And that Justice, is for all.

Argh sorry guys don't have much time nowadays lah for writing anything but here's something for you all to watch and enjoy. I hate Dan Quayle, he's likes a stupid dumb blond, excpet he has a ****.

Heh heh ;P

A few weeks back after coming back from my QTI session from Cheras, a friend of mine and I noticed a car sticker. Well I was surprised at how stupid it sounded.

Minyak Hak Rakyat

And now as the 'rakyat' of Malaysia I feel ashamed at how astoundingly stupid some of us can get over time. Okay so I'm not a worker yet and so I don't know how it feels to be paying for petrol and diesels for my car.

But one thing that yet I can't understand is how can oil be our rights whereas we do nothing to sustain the cost, the burden, the worker wages and much more. It's not like the taxes that we pay are used to sustain for the Petronas oil rigs and the business it does with exporting oil. Whereas they( I don't know which idiot) would say that oil is the citizens rights, I would agree to say that oil is the markets rights.

Why is oil the markets rights? Because as the currency can only be manipulated through printing of money itself, so is that oil is controlled through the market prices. We can't actually go on about ranting on how expensive oil is when the market demands it so. And the market demands it so because the production of oil is decreasing. Matthew Simmons insisted that we are actually at the peak production of oil and after this we're going down a bull slope. And this effects the oil industry's market when oil shortages occurs. Prices increases and definitely the 'rakyat' wouldn't be happy! And what happens after that? Another series of protest and the government would again have to subsidies the oil prices. And is subsidisation the way we want to go whereas any economist knows that this way the rich are taking advantage while we're still struggling!

I'm not tryng to fight for the government here, what I am tryng to do is to correct the perception that we are having. Isn't it obvious that statements like Minyak Hak Rakyat is a political sentiment?

Do we need some cool kick-ass world idol to tell us that? Or can we just sit down relax and think properly?

I fear that as a citizen of Malaysia we are being toyed around by the politicians who takes advantage of situations where thinking needs to be done before actions. And it shall take its toll when the financial statements and budgets are negatively affected and shows an unfavourable result. Whereas our taxes are not as high as country in Europe where it reaches to even 45% of their wages.

I'm not a rich bit*h but I know better than to think like an uneducated person.

I have had a new point of view, a consciousness towards the workings of an administration and management
-- by a game!

Now, they say that games has been a bane, a back step on human progress. We may notice that with years gameplays and graphics has and will enhance. However, what we have failed to notice that whereas these fields progress, the aim can also progress towards benefitting us itself in ways other than relaxation and anger management.

I started playing SimCity 4 the other day and wow, I guess it really made me rethink all the way. I know that managing a city isn't easy. But the fact is, I was wrong. It's hard, very hard. Where you think that your giving people free education to make the citizens smarter, you have to look at your budget and ensure the financial statement is happy. It's not always you can make a welfare state and not have bad implications. Costs are huge burdens where you would have to replace it another way. And why do you need to? Well you want to make investments in other sectors. Plotting lands for commercial and industrial uses where money are of huge concerns. Plotting the land itself can be very costly and then there's the matter of time for investors to come.

You see, there are no hints or tricks on managing a city or country. It's all on thinking. Taxes can burden you by halting commercial, residential, and industrial increase but if there's no taxes then how are you suppose to make profit? Profit is the core of it. Okay I'm beginning to sound like a capitalist but it's true. If you don't have profit then you have loss. If you have losses then you budget shrinks. And without any profit it shrinks all the way until you have to fork out loans and increase taxes!

So I guess I was wrong all these while. Running a country isn't easy and I guess we all have been looking the wrong way. We expect too much as citizens and when what we want are not achieve, we start the blame game and come out with conclusions of our own where the product is not certain. And it is in these cases that uncertain investments and ways are simply unacceptable.

After that we get angry and start protesting everywhere saying the administration should be giving cheaper oil prices and etc etc where we ourselves are not knowledgeable enough in those areas. We talk like Aristotle and Plate while we forget that they say because of their knowledge, not just their belief and ideas. Their ideas are born through their knowledge. It does not go the other way. When it does its called third world thinking!

But that does not mean I'm on the goverment side. Because somewhere along the lines, our leaders has implimented cronism, bribary and unjustified methods of governing! And this is what weakens our country! I shall blog more later on that issue. Heh, I don't feel like vacationing in the ISA detention( if you get what I mean)

Haha, trylah SimCity 4! Its goooood ;)

I can't stand it. Writer's block SUCKS :(

The U.S Department of State has released publicly the 2008 Human Rights report which was done by the newly appointed Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton. For those who are interested in reading it, here's the link >>

http://www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/hrrpt/2008/nea/119117.htm

Now, as you read down the report can actually be concluded normal. I mean, its a human rights report, what do you expect? Everything flowery or everything evil?

Well, what can be questioned is how they justify the attack on Gaza. Infact, there was absolutely no mention of all the innocent number of war victims of the attack late 2008!
So one can doubt the effectiveness of the report by the U.S Department of State ;).

There was also no mention of the Geneva Convention humanitarian laws and how most of the laws made to protect the war victims were broken. Moreover, the most important parts which should be addressed in the report as it effects the innocent civillians right for a better life such as the border, the shelling of the Gaza underground tunnels and the decrease of aid trucks for the Palestinians.

It is crystal clear la weyh, that America is siding with Israel in that matter. The international police are the servants of Israel. Proof has emerged recently
1.the call to Bush
2.Obama's lack of action
3.The 2008 Human Rights report

The world community cannot rely on the U.S to take action as they are not able and strong enough to carry out justice in the world, especially to Israel.

Please ah, just because Obama is in power now does not mean that it would stop. Even his party was funded by Israel families. As far as I know, He might just be another servant of the Israel. So don't put your hopes too high.

Its time for us to actually take action and care :).

Heyy, so long I haven't blogged!

And as promised, here's another song video from another great singer Nina Simone. It's not her actual name by the way. She changed her name cause she did not want her mom to know she was singing 'the devils music'. Haha, but she's really good in relating to her audience. I remembered this song where she sang and stopped, and expressed her feelings on love songs and why does it has to be so sad. You can't be soul and black music lovers if you don't know this woman! :nods:.

Anyways, the song below is sinnerman by her and it was once featured in the Thomas Crown Affair movie when he was returning the painting. Pierce Brosnan is definitely our generations Steve McQueen. He like totally owned all those guys during the scene. Oh crap! I'm deviating from the real purpose now eih ><.

So here it is

THE JOYS OF BEING SINGLE

Many people for centuries think that being a single is like being a loner, however, we decline to agree to such perception due to it being very misguided and ofcourse untrue. Lets face it, if being a single is not fun or enjoyable, where did the word playboy came from right? And its a known fact that more than half of the men in the world , let it be single or taken, are wanting to be a playboy.

A loner is a loner and a single is a single. Both aspects are very much different.
A loner is a person who has been left by their mate or in any apsect similar to that whereas being a single is your own choice! Is it wrong for you to make a choice to be one?

And the best part is that a single person may or may not engage in dating or checking out anyone they want(even the same sex but seriously, if can DON'T, for girls can laa :P)!

However we can't deny one last thing that the term single isn't exactly suitable, it is BACHELORS or BACHELORETTES.

In conjunction with Valentines day, or the Single Awareness Day (sad) we have compiled a list of reasons to support and show the fun in being a single.
They are as below:

1.You shall never get guilty looking at other opposite sex with delicious hot body
2.You would not need to buy expensive gifts to your mate and get pissed when he or she gives it back
3.You get to save money and prepare for the impending financial crisis and inflation
4.You get to save time for studies(joking) and go out to do more meaningful stuff than hold a girls hand for two hours
5.You don't get scolding by the opposite sex just because you did something small
6.You won't need to worry of what your mate thinks
7.You would get to spend more time with friends
8.You won't waste time thinking of your mate and use it to think about how to curb the inflation hitting the world currently

AND FYI, we have been in relationships so we know what we're talking about!

Please and thank you.

Due to the unfortunate fact that yours truly is suffering from writers block (which I seem to have randomly now and then) I've decided to put up one of my favourite songs to ganti my usual ramblings on war and peace and current issue comments.

So here's Gladys Knight!

(normally she would be paired up with The Pips as her back up male singers but in this song no)

Sedap kan? I think later on I'll post up Marvin Gaye's and Minnie Riperton's ;).

Today Israel is going to have it's national election and the whole world looks on upon it with hopes of a change. Many now hopes that with the way the war went, the opposition party, Likud lead by Benjamin Netanyahu, will win. Many people see it as a sign of change to the way the security of Israel and more importantly the middle east.

I for one have a bad feeling about this considering that even the Likud party would still not improve the terms for a cease fire and ending the Gaza blockade.

Yuval Diskin, head of Shin Bet: “Hamas is interested in continuing the truce, but wants to improve its terms”: an end to Gaza blockade, and Israeli ceasefire on the West Bank. The cabinet – high with election fever and eager to appear tough – rejected these terms. (J Hari, The Independent, 29/12/08)

I want to sleep
On top of a roof
Lying my body lazily
My head looking upwards
With nothing in my mind
Just a picture of her in the clouds

Haha! Like Snoopy!
I wish I was Snoopy.

sometimes, I feel like I'm like Jane Austin in Finding Jane

fighting with the tide of normality and oppression of the negative ideals of the people today

Just that I'm not a girl you know
and it's difficult abstaining yourself from your ideas
I hate being this way
I hate myself haha!
Come on dude think positive!
How can you possibly write about helping others when you feel like this!?

I think i need my friends right now
Haha,
Where are they?

A so-called truce has been done and Israel (in their own context) stopped the invasion. Happy here happy there yada yada peace yay! Bet that was what you expected huh?

Whenever war happens, the most difficult part survival. We can't deny that, you don't survive, you die. Simple.

But what is the next hardest thing when something bad happens? Is it about counter-attacking the problem? or is it finding a cure?

Well i would say, it is picking up the pieces and the process of repairing it back to a better state it was and this is what is happening to the Palestinians in Gaza right now.

Many people speak of the harshness of war, of what it brings in terms of life count, but let's try something else. Let's try economy, let's try infrastructure and lastly, the life of the war victims themselves.

Economy:

Economy is a major part in the human colony. Money dominates nearly every possible thing on earth, sometimes unfortunately, even love. Without money, we can't buy food, clothing's and a comfy bed for us to sleep on. Money is the vito of a man's life.

However when war happens, expenditure of a country increases tremendously. They would have to but weapons, ammunition, tanks and etc etc. Even a soldiers kit would cost more than 300+ US dollars. Imagine the number of soldiers. Try guessing the cost, and you would get millions spent!! While these money could be spend towards the welfare of the country, it's being wasted in a war.

During war, resources (any) will deplete faster than before. Many would vie to buy foods and soap. Necessity items becomes limited and this makes price increase due to its limitedness. So it effects the people indirectly as well as the country.

And all this goes on and on until the war truly ends and even then, money still is flowing out! Why? Because to build back houses require money! To produce back food requires money! EVERYTHING REQUIRES MONEY. As mentioned, money dominates.

A country may lose more than half of its monetary funds because of war, as we have seen towards Britain in world war 1. Japan was fortunate America helped them greatly if not they would not achieve the same status now if things were to have gone differently. But don't be mistaken that America is a hero, it is never a hero. War mongers are a more precise term for them. When gone bankrupt, they are not able to do business and many more.

Infrastructure:

Infrastructure is regarded as a country's way to show its development. But when war happens building gets blown. And a lot too. And to build one is not within a day, it takes months and years. Houses are lost, childrens and old women are forced to live under a hut in the 21st century! Schools and prayer houses! Each one building plays a major role in providing a secure, comfortable and most importantly safety towards the civilians.

By disregarding the aspect importance in infrastructure, any volunteer or peace loves is still denying rights of a normal life towards

I'll write about their lives in another post as it might be very long.Thank you and to be continued!

He pushed away the soft curtains as he walks quietly towards her. His heart full of the wickedness and anger had doused his flames of love. Love was no more than the devil's play for him.

From his pocket he took out the Persian's knife, and clutched it strongly in his grip. And like Othello, he strides to her room bringing her impending doom.

Roxanne, not realizing of the predicament she was in, continued applying her make ups infront of her mirror. A little more and it would have been done but she stopped. She stops as she looks deeply into the mirror. She stares deeply to look at the sinfully woman who had betrayed every single bit of love and sacrifice that Carlos had given her.

She held up her powder once more to continue and the words of Count Bresco echoing in her mind haunted her. But what she did was for the benefit of them both did it not ,she thought to herself. Almost suddenly tear's rolled down her cheeks and ruined her make-up. But that did not bother her. It was her actions and his feelings that mattered . She cried her heart out and closed her face with her two hands in shame.

But was anyone there to hear?

From behind she heard the lock of her door opened and the knob turned. A man came in and there he stood looking at her composed. In his hand, there was a knife, and on his face, he was no more.

The one thing about Israel that shocks me the most, is their arrogance. Not stopping at their antics of war, they now shifts their attention towards terrorizing volunteer efforts.

In less than a week after their presumed invasion, they have limit the volunteer efforts, still blocks the border and even not allow for harmless fishermen's to fish in their own territories.

Lately, they have shot a boat (precisely three times) shipping many supplies from all over the world declining entrance to Gaza and thus cutting supplies. I'm not too surprised at this however.

Israel has never in history remember it's lessons. It has continued its efforts towards reclaiming Gaza(especially the west bank) for their own reasoning that it has been their ancestors land before. They have refused to acknowledge the democratic rights of the people who have voted for Hamas. Thus a treaty was made in 2006. But going back to their defiance and so-called rights, they broke it again in 2008.

After the invasion, everyone went happy and relieved. But Israel now already gaining its confidence, continues their reign of terror in a small manner. But how did this happen? I for one believe it is because we were inconsistent with our steps.

Now everyone feels better and this gives Israel the chance, the opportunity to strike again!

Before the truce in 2006, around 500-600 supply trucks were allowed in Gaza daily, but during the cease fire only 90 were allowed in daily! Many of the Gazaans starved, but again, we never noticed that. So Israel is now taking its chance and does not allow any supply in.

So they did let a few in. Yay, Israel are goooood. Honestly? Screw that.

Compared to the thousand of Gazaans, what does a few truckloads of food able to do?

Rather than be happy a few are let in, we should've continued our argue and fight for more trucks and supplies to be allowed in! The suffering is endless now that even food isn't enough for all of them. Infact rather than not allowing the trucks in, they're arrogantly rang shots at supply ships as to warn them from coming in. The worse thing that killing a person right there and then, is to starve and make them suffer to death.

We now have another new issue to battle in Gaza. And it is of our volunteering rights! Our rights towards helping those in need, the war victims who are continuously being made to suffer indirectly. Our safety to help them are in jeopardy as even sending food risk our lives. This jeopardizes our rights to help.

The war may have been announced over, but does that mean the issues are over.

Now another arises, and do we still need a dead innocent man, a journalist or a volunteer worker to make us realize it?

HEY EVERYONE! Okay the latest news is my friend Miss Shakina is opening up a small internet fashion company. She's 17 and dah start? Smart eh?

Well the company's name is Violet Wardrobe

Come and visit her blog site here www.violetmeetswardrobe.blogspot.com. She has quite a good taste in fashion (you can trust me on that) so check it out yawwl. And the price is okay i guess so you don't need to worry on that part ;)

I DON'T EAT PORK FYI.

Hurm, Pork? Why pork you wonder?

Okay, As you all might know now that I live in Malaysia. Malaysia being as what it is consist of many races and this is our best point. Being able to tolerate each other for more than 50 years now is considered a miracle because even as you can see in movies, even the United States which is mainly controlled by the white people discriminated other races greatly(creating the Ku Kux Clan).

The respect we have among each other in this country is great! Personally, i have even more friends who are non-bumiputra and i like them very well. Everyday i find myself very happy being among them as Malaysians and not thinking of our respective race.

But sometimes our respect gets to a very funny level but i guess they're just being appropriately respecting us Malays. For Malays we can't eat pork meat because our religion(Islam) forbids it.

So what my Chinese friends would normally do is, every single time they put up a picture of a pork meat they would put down there "sorry" or something like it. I find it funny because they think it would be offensive to do such a small thing.

Okay fine so it can be offensive if you give pork meat in a situation where most guest are Muslims and offer it to them but to offer it when there is a Chinese wedding? I personally think it's their rights to do so. Just remember to put up the sign showing it's pork meat.

And then there's this friend of mine who puts up a picture of pork meat and apologise. Haha, where can you get these kind of wonderful friends huh? But he didn't need to apologise because it's just a picture!

Most of them think i would get angry every single time they mention pork. Sometimes my friends would ask me

"hey sorry ah. You wouldn't mind right? "
" Haha! It's okaylah! It's just pork meat. Don't worry" :)

See see! Such nice people! They would ask questions like that worrying that i would feel offended! I think it's normal for pork to be eaten among them and we shouldn't get offensive for such small matters. It's not as if they're offering us some in which it would matter cause it's very offensive to do so.

I would just like to say that it's okay for you all to enjoy it and put up pictures of pork meat! There's no need to apologies unless its necessary but then again being the good Malaysians that we are, we always do! And that's good actually. Imagine if we were to do it that way, everyone would apologise even if we're eating beef because Indians can't eat beef! And it isn't fair if we can say sorry to Malays but not to Indians so we only need to be careful so that there won't need for us to apologise.

So yeah just wanted to make a small point :). Malaysia is cool and more is it's diverse range of races!

Haha Hehe Hoho, okay today i felt like writing about my favourite type of music!
Ahemahem! My favouritisatesas is....soul and those kind of black music!
Here's a list of my beloved singers (some only lor, if write all endless meh)

B.B King, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Barry White,Gladys Knights and the Pips, Carly Simon, Chuck Berry, Frankie Valli, James Taylor, The Temptations, The Manhattans,
The Platters and so MUCH MORE.

Eheh, I am totally into these singers! You all should check them out :nods:. Black Musics goood :). Haha, why am i crapping so much? ><

On the quiet streets of Buenos Aires, Carlos walks away. His footsteps were heavy and his heart was screaching her name. He was limping againts the wall to gain his steps. His hands were tainted with blood and his cheeks were streaming with tears of madness. And behind him suddenly, rang a shot.

It is the year 1854 during the fresh years of Bohemia. Artisans and young men travelling and migrating away from their home far away from the clutches their parents free of politics and embracing the new way of life. A young man from Spain, Carlos Esteviera, travels in hope of finding his true calling as an artist. Hearing of the beauty of the Rio de La Plata and the music of tango, he travels to Buenos Aires.

But it is there he discovers the sinful beauty of Roxanne Garay and how destructive is seduction. The desire of a man for his beloved. The passion of love between them that grows. But alas the suspicion that led to anger, betrayel and jelousy! And without trust, there is no love.

It is a tale of trust and love, but when love can be bought or sold, how can there be trust? And when there is no trust, how can there be love?

The economic bubble has already burst out in America and other western countries.

It is only a matter of time until Malaysia would feel its effect. We can't actually say that as a country which an economic sytem which is less America prone we won't feel much effects.

Its true that analyst are saying we won't feel much, but how much is this not-much-feeling?

1.The group of youth are definitely not feeling it. Reason is, we don't care.

2.They spend even more weirdly nowadays (remember the post about me going with Fahmi and Nabil to OU? )

3.Its a young trend to spend like crazy at shops like Zara and go fashion obsessed such as the new singlet style Top Man shirts.

4.This is BAD. Simple but really BAD.

5.We all know that Singapore are retrenching Malaysian workers out of their companies and sending back here.

6.Its just a matter of time many countries would do so. London has already announced sending Malaysians back here remember?

7.Using a professional foreign worker is costly for them and would increase the unemployment rate in their country. Why? simple, if we give jobs in our countries company then our people won't get it. And professional workers are paid much more than normal workers here. We know that foreign workers have quality. The same here , the same in other countries.

8.Malaysia has more than too-high unemployment rates!

9.When more Malaysians are sent back, that means the population increases. When population increases, the number of unemployed people increases regardless of professionality.

10.Therefore the risk are higher for all the workers as risk of losing their jobs are too due to competition. Hence, many more people being unemployed cannot be avoided.

11.Malaysians are very choosy! They always want good jobs. Never willing to work a bit hard for something small.

12.This makes it hard for the parents of youth who doesn't have a job/unemployed.

13.Worse is with the way the sellers are going, the prices would just be amounting higher. Dulu Nasi Pattaya 3.50, now 4.50! A RM1.00 difference is very high! And the irony is, the food becomes less.

14.That means consumers are being victimised! Who are the consumers? Us lah pandai!

15.But then with all these problems, the youth seems to be inconsiderate to their parents by spending blindly.

16.Now other than the points up there why are they like this? BECAUSE YOUR PARENTS GIVE YOU MONEY AND YOU TAKE IT FOR GRANTED!

17.Youth don't care because no matter what tey will continually be fed with money and doesn't realise whats happening to their parents account book.

18.There is no kesedaran.

19.If this goes on without any new proper financial management, it will definitely affect the larger community of workers in Malaysia as the constant demand for money becomes higher.

20.And when parents refuse to give in, the youth starts to rebel and having negative feelings towards the parent hence comes the issue of family problems.

21.There goes on the never ending cycle of negativity.

22.What more is the unemployment rates.

23.When more people are left unemployed, how else would these people pay for their expenses and such?

24.The task falls on the goverment where they would have to cater for these people whileour funds becomes lesser.

25.The irony of this matter however is that our country is not a welfare country.

26.In other contries, 52% tax pay cut is imposed upon its people whereas in our countries is much lesser. Bear in mind that their pay is much higher.

27.Where does this money goes to? To the welfare, education and the unemployed

28.Our country and its system however is not designed in that way.

29.Hence the unemployed would have to resort to other ways. Namely, crime

30.Malaysians should not take the economic crisis here too lightly as their youth are.

To be continued

Its confirmed! I'm in love with Peanuts the comic strip!

Charlie Brown, Lucy and Snoopy ROCKS!

Haha Hehe Hoho

This week as i read through a friends blog, i was shocked when reading a comment which unfortunately claims that invoking thoughts of peace was futile and useless in this world for now and ever. Saddened by this person's thought, i felt oblige to write an article of peace itself and what it means to me rather than writing about the harshness of war.

Peace is first of all an idea. An idealism of men where violence does not exist. It is not, i repeat NOT when violence is absent, when war does not occur. It is more than the absence of war. Peace is never absent nor has it ever happened. It is state of mind as you can say it. Hence firstly, peace is the idea.

The idea of peace in my context refers to the thought, or idea of men, women and children where negativity( or Batil as we Muslims calls it) does not exist. Let us not be confused between the phrase non-existence and absence. Non-existence refers to which something, somewhat, events etc etc does not happen and shall never happen whereas absence however is at state of change. At one time war can happen and at one time one it can stop but at the same time it can be started all over again. I guess you could say that it is a never ending cycle of horrible miseries and nightmares except for this nightmare is happening.

In an event of when war is absent, or no war, peace is still nothing. In those and similar kinds of events, people tend to forget their wishes of peace. The urgency of peace is gone. When people forget it, they find no use of it thinking that they are living in peace where truthfully living in this peace is like a mirage which blinds them until a certain point of time someone gets shot, killed and war is started all over again and then we start to have ideas of peace and yearns for it. However the idea of their common peace is different as it is only associated with that event not occurring.

What happens when it is gone? Is peace achieved and everyone lives happily ever after or is it absent and we must preserve the idea of peace and yearns for it ever after.

Peace can act in many different and peculiar manners. Most of the time, without us realizing, especially in the current tides of war, we yearn for peace more than ever. Never the less it is good, this is not the exemplary act of peace as this shows how easily people can forget things and to take it into granted.

When in a situation of war, then starts the existence of peace inside their mind. This is what i interpret peace as. It is an idea. A yearning, a determination towards something that is associated with love, care and passion towards the living. Whereas the peace that is commonly interpreted now is defined commonly as a state in which war is absent.

However this idea cannot in any way as to be let off just alone as an idea. It is in this role that the concept of understanding comes into hand. A small idea by itself is fruitless and brings nothing.

To scientists and inventors, an idea is like a small tree. When we want the fruit, we can't just expect for the tree to pop out one fruit. We must cater to the needs of the tree taking care of it. We give it water, we pour the fertilizers and we allow for it to receive sunlight. As time goes by, the tree grows and when it is strong and tall, it will grow out the fruits that we want. Similar to an apple tree, ideas too needs to expand in order to grow out and produce the results wanted.

Without expanding the idea of peace there can be no ideas of it at all. We can do this by acting against the acts of war, spreading this idea, protesting, boycott and blogging/writing about peace and war.

BUT one very simple way( if your just too lazy to do anything else) is by having faith in the idea of peace.

The question here is not if its enough or anything else but is it worth having faith in it?

With all the destruction, misery and hate around, is having faith in the idea of something that seems impossible worth it?

My answer is a thundering yes.

The idea of peace is not any kind of simple idea. It is an idea which any man can covet but can only be achieved if accepted first. Having faith in the idea of peace is accepting and embracing the idea itself. If the idea is not accepted, then wouldn't it be better if we just get on with it by blowing up Palestine?

Why not just blow up Malaysia while we're at it?

Faith in the idea of peace is not a ridicule. Faith is what pushes us in our road to achieve it. The faith in peace is the silence that speaks for many of the victims and the suffered ones.

To start fighting the realization of this idea, to make it come true starts with having faith and believing in it.

Fighting towards making an idea come true only makes sense when we actually believe in it. Does it makes sense if we don't even accept and believe in the idea but we still fight for it?
If it does then go check with a psychiatrist. :P

Many say that to have faith in this is a futile attempt let alone to speak for it.

But let it be remembered that in our acceptance of this idea there shall be many who will criticize our faith and beliefs. And we have to accept their existence. We have to muster the courage and continue in our path for in a path as this, we need to have the courage of a soldier. To sacrifice or put at risk our lives and our faces to achieve this is important.

May other critic our views and opinions but never let them waver our faith in it. Peace may have its victories and it takes brave men and women to achieve and spread this idea.

As John Lennon once quoted 'Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will live as one'.

I guess all that I'm saying is give peace a chance

IN ACCORDANCE TO :

I've decided to post up a few interesting thing's about Islam( my religion ehem ehem).
Somehow i don't dare much to write about what's in exactly in the Quran cause for me it's just too beautiful and for a person sejahil and unknowledgable of me to write it is not the right thing to do. I wish to one day be able to but it is until I have the right and precise knowledge of the writings of the Quran.

But seing as this is a good thing to do in blogs, I'll randomnly put up a few post concerning on my religion such as today's Doa Taubat.

You all can choose to just skip this if your not Muslims cause I'm not intending to change anyone's religion or anything at all! Just that I feel better if i can actually do something. I hate feeling useless. And I really like reciting Doa Taubat. It really sounds very nice and beautiful to me lah so yeah and i guess, its just that you won't ever get tired of it, ever and I'm serious about that!!

It's like Raihan's nasyid version

Okay! Here's DOA TAUBAT

Arabic:(but in verses and lines and in letter writing)

Translations:

Wahai tuhan,
Aku tak layak masuk syurgamu,
Namun tak pula aku sanggup ke nerakamu,
Ampunkan dosa dan terimalah taubatku,
Sesungguhnya engkaulah pengampun dosa-dosa besar,
Dosa-dosaku bagaikan pepasir dipantai,
Dengan rahmatmu ampunkan daku,
Oh tuhanku,
Wahai tuhan,
Selamatkan kami ini,
Dari segala kejahatan dan kecelakaan,
Kami takut kami harap kepadamu,
Suburkanlah cinta kami kepadamu,
Kamilah hamba yang berharap belas darimu.

Thats it! :). For muslims, trylah hafal! It sounds really nice okay.

Hey hey Ho Ho, i just came back from One Utama just now. Fahmi ajak teman go buy something for his urm...friend? lol. Hard to say what she is to him. So ajak Nabil also and he bought an MP3! Walaweyh loaded people!
Eh, I didn't buy anything cause tryng to save money now. Fahmi was balddd (or Motte as Indians say it in Tamil), well so was Nabil but I've seen Nabil bald before.

Well so yeah here's Fahmi's picture as a bald man!! Huahahahoho.

Funny kan? xD. Okay fine it's not :P

SO he bought the second book from the Twilight series..urm..whats it called again...
Ah! Baru Bulan. Yeah that was it. I had to be thick faced and asked this hot bodied chick if it was the second book! We all talked a bit about our lives expecially theirs in PLKN right now. As usual a bit of girls! Haha and then came back.

Walowh i tell you ah. Both of them like hot stuff weyh. Nabil has got it going on with this chinese chick but no, they haven't couple yet. It's just that they're friends and they talk a lot together calling the girl with sweet cute names which i can never do. The most i can call another girl other than her name is like urm mostly.....Miss (put girl name here). Nabil sudah maju eh.

Fahmi ah! The playboy hotstuff as usual oh.

And I think so far I'm like the one most far from falling into a relationship. It's not like I don't like anyone in which case I do but i think that the probability of anything more than not-so-complete stranger kind of relationship is the closest I'll ever get since its also a fact that I'v also seen her once but we do chat but that's not even friendship with a girl so it's kind of a confusing thing with this girl but I'm not that confused just that I'm unsure of what to do cause she is so.. interesting.

Haih, the thing woman do.

BUT I STILL ENJOY BEING SINGLE HOHOHEHE

Okay yeah so that was it. It was fun i guess :).
